Twenty years in healthcare technology taught me how to lead through complexity: by scaling AI across 40,000 technologists, building organizations from the ground up, and turning big ideas into viable products. But it wasn't until agentic AI made the leap that I went back to writing code, and it has reminded me of the time I spent writing novels. Then, I created worlds with words. Now, I create apps with code. Two forms of creative output that stretch the imagination and keep me learning.
